Events In Our Community – Kildeer Making Miracles Happen

144228_5433fbd5007b4.pngOn November 15th, St. Mary’s Services will be hosting their Annual Fall Gala entitled, Making Miracles Happen, at Concorde Banquets in Kildeer, Illinois.  This fundraising event is held to celebrate National Adoption Awareness Month, commemorate all that the agency has accomplished over the past year, and to grow their resources for future endeavors.

Janet Davies, from ABC 7 News will be joining us as our emcee.  Alongside Janet, the Gala will be entertained with music from Fantastic DJ’s.  There will be silent and live auctions, including signed athletic apparel, vacations, priceless experiences, gift baskets, and thousands of dollars worth of merchandise and gift cards.  Throughout the evening you will also be able to purchase raffle tickets to win an iPad; raffle tickets will be sold 1 for $20 or 3 for $50, if you would like to purchase raffle tickets in advance, please contact St. Mary’s Services at (847) 870-8181.

The event will begin at six o’clock in the evening, attire is business and tickets are being sold at $125 for an individual admission or $1250 for a full table purchase.  This ticket includes complimentary passed appetizers, open bar, salad and soup, dinner, dessert, and a guaranteed memorable and fun evening!  Our program will first welcome Joanne Bratta, Executive Director who will speak on behalf of the agency.  Joanne will introduce Elizabeth Watkins, President of the Board of Trustees, along with Anthony Galante and Rev. Gary Cox, both adopted children of St. Mary’s who will share their stories.

St. Mary’s invites all to join them in this joyous and meaningful occasion so they can continue to provide ongoing aid and counseling for all of their clients, ensure that all of St. Mary’s children remain safe and healthy, provide education to pregnant teens on parenting, relationships, and options counseling, and to carry on building stable families to strengthen the community.

“What a great cause!  I hope you’ll consider going to this wonderful event or donating to a great cause.”
